Abidemi [BD] Alabi has worked in the technology and software industry for over 15 years, and his career has largely included providing consulting services on many Business Intelligence and Data Analytics projects to big multinational organizations including Microsoft Corporation, Credit Suisse First Boston Investment Bank, The US department of veterans affairs, Nokia, Expedia Inc. and many others. He holds a Bachelor’s degree (BEng) in Electronics and Electrical Engineering from London South Bank University in the United Kingdom, and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the Foster Business School at the University of Washington. Throughout his career his work has focused on the confluence of business and technology, and more importantly the uses of both for improving the way that consumers and businesses consume and use data and information in order to achieve their desired outcome..

Modupe Ajibola

(Group B Director)

Modupe is the founder and CEO of Nigex (Nigex, a proprietary Agile Software Platform that enables resources from Africa to consult seamlessly for global jobs with the backings of a US company; Nigex agreements and tools with both consultants and clients enable secure vetting, training, managing and holding resources accountable. Nigex is one of the most cost effective ways to outsource Software Development work without the common issues of language barriers or requirement miss alignments..

Modupe is also the co-founder of the award winning technology and company called OTGPlaya. OTGPlaya connects end-users to digital content by leapfrogging existing bandwidth constraints of internet infrastructure.. Since its founding in Austin, OTGPlaya has won the USAID Africa Diaspora Marketplace Award in 2012 and the 2013 LLGA City Pilot for City-Wide Wi-Fi in Lagos, Nigeria.

Modupe is also the founder of Vision Invent Inc (VI), a leading Design House and technology rep firm in the USA that supports hundreds of Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) customers.

Prior to forming VI in 2008, Modupe enjoyed a successful 10 years at Texas Instruments. (TI) where he served in several positions including University Program Manager for New MSP430 micro controller processor, Processor Development, Field Applications Engineer, Distribution Business Manager, Mass Market Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Account Manager and Product Marketing Manager; Modupe supported the design and manufacturing of products for Halliburton, OMNI Flow, RFCode, Ripcode, Ascendant, Automated Gas Metering, National Oil Well Valco, Raytheon, Automotive Industry and hundreds more. Modupe was directly responsible for driving TI’s design penetration in several markets and growing TI’s revenue over the years.

John B. Adeliyi

Director of Operations

Mr. Adeliyi has several years of industry experience as Facilities Project Engineer and Manager with adept experience working and consulting for major E&P Oil and Gas companies. Expertise includes offshore fixed and floating deep-water production, onshore gas gathering, compression and processing, pipeline, petrochemical facilities and Pipeline Integrity Management.

Mr. Adeliyi previously worked as a Facilities Engineer with National Engineering and Technical Company (NETCO) Lagos, Nigeria – a subsidiary of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC). He left the shores of Nigeria in 2002 to acquire technical competence to improve the oil/gas industry in Nigeria. He worked with several oil/gas firms in the gulf coast of United State of America, where he displayed his ingenuity, technical expertise and entrepreneurship drive.

To have a right launch base for transfer skill and technical knowledge back to Nigeria, he started the company, which has blossom exponentially with a handful of affiliate business entities like, Venice Engineering & Consulting, a Limited Liability Companies. He is an accomplished business executive with great acumen for contracting and risk mitigation strategies.

Mr. Adeliyi holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering. He is also a member of Project Management Institute (PMI).

Dr. Sylvia Opusunju

(Group C Director)

Dr. Sylvia Opusunju has over 16 years of health care experience. Dr. Opusunju’s career largely includes research, quality improvement projects, working in the fields of cancer medicine, intensive care medicine, and emergency medicine. Dr. Opusunju’s is the founder and CEO of Practitioners In Motion, Inc and is the creator of SoRouteit. Her expertise includes being an Entrepreneurial Lead for NSF I-Corps Regional Program; the Director of an International Whole foods distributor company. Dr. Opusunju has a wealth of experience on serving on multiple committees and being an active committee member for providing solutions to quality improvement. She possess a Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Alabama, Masters of Nursing in Family Nurse Practitioner from Prairie View A & M University, Bachelors of Nursing from Texas Tech University, and a Bachelors of Health Studies from Baylor University.
